Re: RAGE (Game)

Yea this is a great game, but the story does let it down as people have said. The online mode seems like fun, but I've only played it for a bit and I reckon the novelty will wear off pretty fast. As for the campaign mode, it's fuckin beautiful. I think the authority are the bad guys cus they just wa...

Re: vibrato on sub?

I usually do that actually. Not every tune but recently I've been doing it more. I generally have it linked to an envelope, with a good attack of about 1 or 2 steps so it doesn't wobble straight away. Great idea! And I would suggest LIGHT vibrato. Although obviously do whatever sounds good to you.....

Re: anti-jokes

How did the pig solve the Arab-Israeli Conflict? because neither jews nor muslims are allowed to eat pig, when they finally stopped to think about it, it made them realize how much their religions have in common, thus defusing the religious enmity which was the root cause of the conflict. no, on se...

My god that's a scary little fucker. And no anti venom?!

Props man, but I'd be too much of a pussy to have that thing anywhere near my house haha.

Can't wait for the pics though. Something strangely interesting about spiders.

I have the same problem, interested to see what this thread throws up!

Like, falling, by distance. He uses the same riff over and over. No matter how many times I listen to that it never seems to get old.

Re: Is the moneyshot thread too inaccessible for new produce

I get what you are saying, I really do, but this is a sticky.

Anyhow, just my opinion, whatever happens it probably won't affect me much anyhow, already read the original thread, and it was pretty informative. That guy Macc knows his shit.

Re: importing sounds into fl from massive?

If you save the preset, you could open it in FL.

If you, for whatever reason, can't open it in FL, just do what someone said and record it (with audacity or something) and import the .wav files.

Re: Is the moneyshot thread too inaccessible for new produce

I see your point, nobody should expect to walk into a library and be spoon fed the most important parts, but in the case of the MoneyShot thread, there's a hell of a lot of it has exactly zero educational value. In a way, books are already condensed into the important parts. You are not going to hav...

Re: Is the moneyshot thread too inaccessible for new produce

There's an awful lot of 'we did it so newbs should have to aswell!' in this thread. That's not really a very productive way of thinking. Will them having read the full thread affect you differently than if they had a condensed version? Not in the slightest. I'm not having a go, but that is a bit chi...

Re: Is the moneyshot thread too inaccessible for new produce

IMO there's a lot of clutter to get through to get tips and techniques. If it was set out more clearly, bullet points and such, I think newbies would be more inclined to read it, and may even ask less mixing related questions. Though, keep the original thread how it is. Make a new, more clearly titl...
