Re: Frequency Splitting EQ Questions (2 Free Massive Patchs)

theres no definitive frequencies for this eq-ing. it all depends on the synth/patch/sample, so any numbers would be useless really. just use your ears. having said that, if your just trying to split your synth into sub, bass and midrange. id say sub was 50ish down, bass up to about 500ish or someth...

Re: Frequency Splitting EQ Questions (2 Free Massive Patchs)

exactly what he's talking about in that second tutorial. How he cuts frequencies depending on the lowest and highest note. Ive watched Reso's tutorial where he explains it ok. http://vimeo.com/19125495. Is there any type of chart or if someone can help me find something that explains this is in deta...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011

HomeNoiseRecord Stoney ass riff got me noddin, also like what you have done with the guitar, not feeling so much of that reverb... turn up that distortion! This track is just straight different, love the feeling it gives off even though the progression is normally something i wouldn't find attracti...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011

jakedubber- Yea cloudburn is one of my favorites at the moment, made a small mix with it here http://soundcloud.com/mrp5/feed-me-dubstep-mix . Thanks for the input, I know most of the learning I need to do is low end/ subbass work. I haven't really broke into the es2 or esx24 on logic so modulating...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011

@MRP5 Leaving For Mars - Felt like it droped a little abrupt. Should leave some space before the drop just to give it that extra edge. I'm kind of a synthesis freak so I would suggest trying to beef your synth/bassline up and give it some more character. Great melody though, nice drum work, percuss...
