Please recommend me a new program to mix with..
I've been using MixMeister for a while now, I don't use any of the automatic functions, ever.. I just love the interface, the soundwaves stacked on top of each other, and being able to cut/edit/re-arrange and manipulate them as I please.. I was working on a 4 way mashup of the different versions of ...

Re: Starting out making Electronic music..
I apologize if any of my questions seemed redundant or might have been answered in the thread at the top of the forum, but I just wanted to ask about all the things I wasn't sure about to make sure that I'll be headed in the right direction before I really get into this. So I guess I'll get right to...

Re: Starting out making Electronic music..
I'm gonna be straight with you because I like you, there's a fucking mahoosive thread at the top of this forum which is quite clearly titled 'WANT TO MAKE DUBSTEP, START HERE.', may point you in the right direction. That's the first thing I did, actually. Maybe I should of mentioned to avoid this t...

Starting out making Electronic music..
So I'm completely new to the field of producing my own music, I'm VERY determined and motivated to make this happen. I want to do whatever I can that could help me with producing music. I'm not in the US for the next few months, so I can't really take any community college classes to help me learn m...

What do you use to manage your music?
So I decided I would finally start sorting/tagging all of my music.. I have about 100GBs of music to go through.. I want to make sure I have the best program for this as possible. (I'll be tagging manually) So I'm sure a lot of you have tons of music that needs to be sorted and tagged.. What program...

Re: How do you keep up?
Keeping up is boring. I just take my own route and gander as appropriate... definitely, best advice man. Don't feel the need to 'keep up' because you feel as if you are missing out! Listen to what YOU want to listen to, not cause fact magazine told you to. I do listen to what I want to listen to, w...

Want to cut some samples/clips *Answered*
I want to cut some samples/clips from a few movies/videos, and wanted to ask what you guys use to do that. I'm not a producer or anything at the moment, I just want to be able to grab some samples to use in mixes and stuff like that. What would be the best way for me to cut some audio clips from mov...

How do you keep up?
I'm curious as to what you guys do/what sites you use to keep up with releases/promos etc (besides this one, of course). I've been looking around for a long time but I haven't really found too many sites/blogs worth frequenting.. I'd hate to be missing out on releases/free tracks. So yeah, what site...

Re: What record labels should I check out?
Wow, thanks guys. I thought I didn't get any replies because all the email notifications all went to my spam folder so I didn't check in. I have a huge list to look through, and to answer the question, I'm just looking for good artists, not looking to get signed. Anyway, thanks again!

What record labels should I check out?
So far I've been looking at artists mostly from Rottun, also Wicky Lindows, Chronos and Bass Punch. I know there are TONS of great labels out there. I tried looking up a place where I could find a list of dubstep labels with no luck. Could someone point me in the right direction? Or just listing off...
