I tried but i wasnt sure how to rig it to be completely on-off rather than stepwise, sunny's version seems like it would work but i resolved the problem because the plugin i was trying to map this with it turns out has a built in function like this lol. thanks for your help though

Supposing I wanted to link the mix level of a given effect on the mixer to a key on a keyboard so that whenever the key was played the mix was at 100% but when the key was released it would return instantly to 0% how would I go about doing that? Housestep SubBass?

For Dubstep-House hybrids, whats the protocol on sub bass? I feel like adding subbass would interfere with the bassier house kicks, but that without it the bass might sound too hollow. Any thoughts?

IMO, 140 BPM dubstep isn't going to go away just because people experiment with other bpms. I personally almost never produce at 140 anymore because I make housestep thats usually around 128-130 but what I do doesn't replace previous dubstep conventions, not simply because it isn't influential or bi...
