i have a question on re-sampling, im sure theres a thread on it but its fairly relevant here,
when re-sampling how long do you tend to make the sample?
do you ever use one instance of the bounced wave, then looping it in the sampler? if so how does it differ?

two questions, any one made drum kits using es2 and ultrabeat? if so any tips on plugs/programming, im getting a nice ish sound from the es2 but im now into experimentation stage of 'shaping' and 'processing' so if there is anything you've stumbled across that you like doing/always do to your synth ...

i know there logic only plugs but recently got some really nice results using Es E for bass/mids, Es P for mids/highs and then Es2 for some modded highs, but unless you have logic this wont help much,

i had some luck with doing this in ultrabeat, chopped up a loop of Imogen Heap Hide and Seek into 16ths, saved in a file and loaded into ultra, then the step sequencer made keeping it in key/making a nice riff easy, you've then got the multi output option of modulation
