Bit of a strange request here for you folks, but bear with me. for single notes, does your DAW have a tuner function? it should show a realtime display of what note is being played. either that or buy a £3 guitar tuner and hum the note you want to find into it

hey guys im sampling a pretty neat van halen riff but on the record it is played in the left channel with some reverb/fx in the right. I would like for this to play through both L and R when it kicks in in my song so how would i go about doing this? i sure its pretty simple but its late and my brain...

i like the tune in your sig. doesnt quite suond finished but as legend4ry said, needs a fair bit of work in the mix. to me it just doesnt sound clear enough.

arisemprex - some funky sounds going on there, i like the middle eastern vibe with the synth!! You got the song sorted, i think u just need to fill out the sound with some distorted low bass under it all, and a bit more in the stereo department. good job dude A quick warning to everyne. quick help with midi please
just wondering, i was listening to Swagga by Excision/Datsik and thought, how do you do *that* sound with the bass, where it starts on one note, then seems to slide up to another and back down again. Would this be a parameter within the synth itself (envelopes etc) or can you join two notes together...

Is it possible to get proper sub bass power from a bass guitar? I figured that most amps / cabinets for rock music tend to roll off the sub in favour of bringing out more of the second harmonic but maybe thats how they're mixed or setup. i.e. When Pendulum play live they have a bass player but I'm ...
