Re: Genre breaks?
I try to restrict myself from genre entirely... Like, total disillusionment from that word. Dont limit yourself on any given parameter, but make each n every one your own. This way, you never need to change, because you never sit still. The musics pretty well got infinite possibilities, why you woul...

So, has midrange invaded bristol too, or is that list actually representative of the sound out there still?pete bubonic wrote: About a year ago, I used to live round the corner from headhunter, hyetal, peverelist, pinch and phaeleh (pev and pinch moved now).

Re: Secret Ninja's Night Out: *WIN YOURSELF A DJ SLOT!!*
10 minutes seems way to short to judge someone on their skills as a dj I think it's more to get an idea of your style of music rather than your skill as a dj? Is that really a good strategy when your trying to book DJs for a night though? Soooo important to be able to properly mix if your gonna get...

Re: iZotope Stutter reviews/alternatives?
Hey, I've got to eat my words here. Just tried the demo of this, and it is WAY more powerful then their demo vids make out. VERY INTERESTING next level sounds can come out of this. And I'm talking more in terms of sound design rather than performance. Just scratched the surface, and probably not ev...

Re: Help in the low freq area plzz??
For a good sub use a single sine wave with no FX on it at all . Try and get it in key with any synths you have going and remember to keep the sub a few Db lower than your kick! This Also any lower than 20hz is unnessessary in my expirience. Ill have my drums peak at -3 and sub at -6 usually -6db = ...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK IS NO MORE
Ahhhh I get it, I already basically did that minus the feedback tag, the descriptives... I just figured it was a given that if I was posting a tune, I wanted feedback -w- Either way, liking the system. Although I would assume the same, I posted criticism (constructive obviously) and OP's have respo...

Re: [DJ FEEDBACK] 30 min Filth Mix, new DJ
Oh, and one last thing, I am not sure if this is the right way to do things, but I prefer to record myself in one take, I don't re-record all the time to make it perfect. The reason I do this is because I believe it to be a truer show of my level, and I believe that way it is easier to criticise . ...
