Re: White Noise
You can use it to make a texture to give a fuller sound to your track, you can use it to lead up to transitions, build tension, anything you want to. You can filter it or modulate the volume, whichever sounds best to you. This. Also you can use very sparse white noise at like -20dB on busses to rai...

Re: The future of piracy
I tried before buying, and then I bought. These programs do have demos, so I think the companies might use that as a try it method and discourage cracks.

Re: Quick choppy kicks/snares......how to do it!
Bounce your kick to audio, so all the effects are now permanent.
Replace all your kicks with the first kick that sounds how you want it.
No more problems. Also maybe save this as a new project so you don't save over the kick with the effects on it, if you need to go back and work on it.

Side chaining a reverb send using a kick sounds cool, I did it a week or two ago.

Yeah I've been following the pics they put on facebook. I hope it's a masterclass type thing, could be a little interview (but I'm not following them on twitter and I'm not going to look).

Ha I'd love to be able to group groups. Anyways, do you tune your drums? If so, only the kick? Or everything?

Re: Is my track even Dubstep?
Not bad, if it had percussion that gelled and had flow it could be good. Keep working on designing sounds and flowing, grooving percussion.

At least it isn't boring. Sort of a thunderfuck. But I found myself skipping through it after a min or two. Maybe structure it better?

Re: Mowy Wowy - Industrial (Robotic, Heavy, Oldschool) Feedb
Everything's a little too drenched in reverb, maybe only put a long reverb on one or two sounds, the rest can have a tight verb or none. Also the snare is weak, covered up, and too short.

Re: Basshead-Distinct(dark tear out)
Maybe you could make the melody in between the two drops more special? It feels kind of like a safe route instead of pushing the envelope.

I tried to listen to your mix live but I think timezones are off. I'm in Cali, started listening to part of it.
