Re: 80/90's synthesizers for around £100?

Yea. I agree. I'm just saying if someone insisted on using hardware only--no PC--it would be a super cheap way to get started with bread and butter sounds. I use mine occasionally.

Re: 80/90's synthesizers for around £100?

I'm deffo going to buy me some synth biz when I get a decent interface. My plan is to buy and sell on for a slight profit or the same price, and the time in between I'll record the fuck out of em Edit:: I'll end up keeping them all and the house will be a mess Dipping your toe in is the same as div...

A week is more like it Agreed. Even most famous producers aren't interesting enough (unless you are a total fanboy) to question for a month. Also, lets be honest, half the fun here is being the person interviewed--I promise you'll keep people interested longer quicker you cycle in the next person w...

Demo vids forthcoming... Seriously dude, get on that. I thought about bringing it to the store today...lol. Decided against it. Some additional thoughts--when I first bought it I thought I'd use it mostly as a sketch pad--record the MIDI patterns into FL Studio and replace the sounds if need be. Al...

Re: Gear lust

Almost everything is getting fixed in a new update...and was it pattern gaps on the electribe 2? I thought it was insert FX tails getting cut off when switching patterns? It does sound good. I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet. It is pretty intuitive to navigate. I do have to say I wa...

Re: 80/90's synthesizers for around £100?

I can't imagine a synth from the 80's or 90's that is going for 200 that would be worth much of a damn. Maybe. MAYBE if you are already rocking a hardware setup you might pick up a Casio for that price that you use for a weird vibe occasionally... The CZ100 maybe... My guess is most people used to w...

Re: need a vst

Man I wish I remembered the name of the synths they used to use. Read about it on here in 07. I'd never heard of them. They were these whack ass rompler kind of things. Looked like fisher price, but it was THE sound, that canned cheezy kind string sound that was the basis of grime. Sound Fonts is a...

I have to say though...for me...less is more in the studio. Also, I've found, kinda of deciding on a routing setup for a project is really useful...like I use this FX on this piece of gear or I don't use it. I know I could just take notes...but there is something about walking in, flipping on the h...

If you've got everything you need to do the project, yeah. Lol. Yea. I need not buy anything. Taming these two hardware synths is like breaking wild mustangs. Then I feed them to the OTO Biscuit :6: @knobgoblin: yea...Deco sounds awesome too from what I've heard...I'd love to have an El Cap and a D...

Jesus...I've gone from almost buying an El Capistan...to almost buying a Red Panda Particle... to a MicroGranny...now to a Korg Sample...

I need to finish a project before I buy anything. That's a good deal with myself.
