Re: Thoughts on NI Razor ?
I think its pretty fucking sick. The synth sounds so wide to me even without using any effects, you can defiantely craft some sick sounds... i just wish i knew how to use it a bit better

Re: Native Instruments FM8
^ is op Z turned on? If so, then i'd say without hearing that yeah, probably just the filters aren't too ... good. Or you're not double checking the filter type and cuttoff freq. I had the same problem with it, so i just resample the FM8 audio and filter elsewhere but to be perfectly honest I mainl...

Re: Native Instruments FM8
FM8 is a pretty sick synth, just one question about it if anyone can answer me... I know how to use the filters in FM8, but for some reason i feel like it is not filtering the whole sound (i have the volume on 100 and everything is being routed through the filter). The filter just seems super weak i...

Re: Sub track for Resampled Bassline?
what i do is before i start resampling or anything i try and get the midi notes down so i know kind of how it will sound. Once i start resampling and boucning shit to audio, i make sure that each little segment is labeled with which note its playing. Then when your adding the sub you have all the no...

Re: Bare Noize Drums

O.o I think programming realistic drums can be pretty difficult sometimes though. Im style trying to make a drum roll for this one song im doing and im having some...

Re: Glicheness?
I feel like skrillex probably cuts up and rearranges alot of audio manually to get that effect. db glitch just seems kinda random.. i have the plugin but i havent played around with it much so i might be mistaken, ive gotten the best results just from chopping audio manually though

Re: using basslines in audio question
so do most of you guys liek to process your bassline first then throw it in a sample and filter/LFO it after? ive never tried it this way but that sounds like it could be a pretty good way as you could do all the automation with an already processed sound and not have to alrady have to seperately pr...
