Re: Weed And Producing
Sometimes after I've been producing for a lot of hours in a row, I start to feel burned out and my creativity kind of starts to die, I do just a little bit of weed, and it really helps to get the creative juices flowing again. BTW, you guys should try vaporizing weed, its the best.

Producing Time Per Day
How much do you spend producing per day? Just curious.

Re: Time it takes
Practice is the real secret, I think, just practice as much as you possibly can. Still, sometimes its discouraging when you see a producer who hasn't been producing for very long and sounds much better than you

Consistency of Workflow
Some days when I'm working on tunes, I'll be totally inspired and everything just seems to be going right. Other days, I'll work for hours and hate everything I make. Sometimes it can be really hard to get inspired and get a tune going. When the pros are in the studio, are they able to consistently ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011
@T0X1K Cool synth sounds, very vibey and atmospheric. However, sometimes it feels as though there is almost to much reverb, or at least to many high frequencies interfering with each other. Try more eqing, panning, etc. Also, when the distorted wobbles and things start, the drums seem to low. Lots o...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011
Thanks for the feedback! @MUT3 The intro isn't sampled, its an acoustic guitar sound played by a midi keyboard, along with other stuff I made from scratch.

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011
@barbearik Wow, that is definitely an interesting sound. The intro is so quiet though, I would bring it up a bit. I would also increase the level of the sub. @nnny You might want to add another string part, maybe a cello, to play harmonies with the melody. Overall, it has a nice cinematic feel to it...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JANUARY, 2011
@kid strange Wow, this track is awesome! The wobbles sound great, and contrast well with the atmospheric melody you’ve got. Maybe you could toss in some white noise risers during the little breaks between wobbly parts. Great tune! @The Jaft Nice melody, and all of the different synth parts sound pre...
