Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@SMOR3S - Really loving this dnb tune man! That mix down fucking rules. @mtl6 - Sounds really clean just a bit repetitive is all. The tune that i'm working on right now is really reggae influenced as well so we're in the same boat haha. A really good thing to do is at the beginning maybe solo that r...

Bass Question
I remember seeing a tutorial on how to make this sound in reason but I'm using ableton and i'm not using a subtractive synth. My question is how would you go about making the main wobble that comes after the drop in this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7pZy...eature=related It's also sort of t...

Re: Turntable advice
Do yourself a favor and don't buy hand me down turntables, they'll crap out on you faster than anything. I'd try and invest in some numarks or stantons but it really all depends, i mean if you're just using them to listen to vinyl and not scratching then go with some belt drive turntables.

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Dataloss- Very decent for someone who's just starting out! @Pavvel- Try switching up the wobbles a bit, give it some variety. @Sleight- Try a slow reece bass so give it more attitude. So here's my latest dubstep WIP. What do you guys think? Also I feel as though its not dropping off heavy enough, a...

Great Musicians that get no credit.
Take these guys for example http://soundcloud.com/liesandmurders/discogarbage/ they put so much time, love, and care into their music it really shows , yet nobody really knows of them. Its not surprising and yes I know it takes time to get noticed however its still a bit sad that there's so much und...

Ohmicide
Anyone know where I can find some good tuts for the Ohmicide Disto plugin? It's such a massive vst and i've searched the forums and other places on the webbies and still can't find a decent tut.

Re: Justice Planisphere Synth Sound
Would it be too much to ask for a patch as im not gonna have much time for production this week? It's completely fine if not because you both have been super helpful already!

Re: Bass Syncopation Trouble
I've actually never thought of writing a bassline without solely automating the lfo speed... Should be common sense however thanks so much for the advice!

Dubstep and Reason
Has anybody successfully produced dubstep using Reason? I'm just wondering because I know some electro producers use it like Luckydate and I think Zedd however it seems that not too many top game dubstep producers use it.

Bass Syncopation Trouble
I'm using reason 5 to produce (just switched over from FL) however bass syncopation is always something i've had trouble with no matter what daws or what synth I use. I understand that you would uncheck the syc to tempo if you want to free form the speed of the osc but even when I do that my syncopa...

Grindy Sub Bass
I'm terrible at creating any form of sub bass so i'd like some insight as to how they got the bass to sound like this or even if it is a sub bass. I'm not trying to copy this sound i just think its amazing and would like to know the process behind it. I'm talking about the bass in this song best exa...

Need some help.
Let me start off with giving a bit of background. I've been producing for about 8 months now however I feel like for the past 3 months I've been at the same pace. Could anyone give me some tutorials on synthesis and an in-depth guide on massive. I just feel like I've been producing the same generic ...
