Hooking two sets of 2.1 speakers to one output on laptop?

Hello there. This might be a stupid question so I apologise if so, I'm not very knowledgeable about audio hardware. Basically the situation I have is this: I usually play music with my laptop as a source, using the 3.5mm audio output socket the laptop has to connect it to my set of Logitech z623 ext...

Re: MssingNo

Does anyone on here have any info about whether Mssingno's planning to release Brandyflip (his Brandy - Right Here remix). I came across it last year and it became one of my favourite tunes. It used to be on Youtube but someone took it down last month, it's the first tune on his Production Mix showc...

Re: Message from Burial - new tunes, old tunes, new picture!

We want Lambeth, not your face In the message Burial wrote he talks about how he'd like to release some of his older tunes, that fans have been waiting ages for (like Lambeth), as well as talking about how he has more tunes on the way, Thought there'd be a lot more excitement about this really, but ...

Re: Benga retires

Was wondering if something was up when he didn't show up to Getdarker on Friday, even though some of Benga's new stuff is a bit rubbish he's made some classic tunes and it's a bit disappointing I'll never get the chance to see him play now. Joker replaced him on the lineup with a sick set though (an...

Re: The search to a more suitable name for the 130 movement

Let the game begin. The term i can come up to is Intelligent Grime Music, but that's a bollocks name. Why Intelligent Grime Music? Most of it is basically grime but at a slower tempo, does slowing down music make it more intelligent? Mandatory IQ tests for producers before their music can be ...

Re: New Burial ep

Third listen so far and I actually quite like this. It's really fucking weird obviously, Rival Dealer reminds me of stuff like Prodigy and the rest of the EP keeps giving me vibes of both the Weeknd and random christmas carols lol - it seems very upbeat and Christmassy sounding which I didn't expect...

Re: Kahn

Saw a bit of Kahn at Licked Beatz but the soundsystem in Room 1 was a bit crap and the atmosphere wasn't as good as it could have been, was a bit disappointed tbh. Spent most of the night in Room 2 where the sound was banging and loads of grime and dubstep classics being dropped all night, had a gre...

Re: Unreleased Burial & Four Tet

This sounds sick. always happy to hear new Burial and him and Four Tet's collaborations are brilliant! It's strange cos I've never really been into Four Tet's solo stuff much but Burial and him consistently produce such beautiful tunes... If the new Four Tet album has a Burial collab on it I'll defi...

Re: Kahn

Got my ticket, definitely worth £2 that lineup! Interesting that D Double E's doing a DJ set, he's probably my favourite grime MC so it'll be interesting seeing what he's like behind the decks. Kahn/Neek and Slack should be sick!

Acton Dread's my favourite Rusko tune, so deep and melodic, love the cheeky shout out to Acton with the sample as well, always think of it when I'm getting off the tube lol.

Re: 130 thread

Really like a lot of stuff I've heard from this group of producers, especially Beneath and Wen. I don't see their stuff as a seperate genre to dubstep or grime or anything as a lot of their tunes are very reminiscent of stuff like early Loefah etc, but this is by no means a bad thing in my eyes. I d...

Re: Blackdown - "Dear Disclousure, I wanna bet"

Benga's earlier stuff right up to (and including) Afro Warrior was sick, even Katy On A Mission was great as a pop tune. His recent stuff's been a bit disappointing admittedly... it's like when he lost his afro he lost his powers...

TOP5 Grime MCs... Wiley Skepta Flowdan Warrior Queen Ice Kid (5th always the toughest) Never really thought of Warrior Queen as a grime MC but fair play, she's good anyway. Personal list would be: Wiley Trim Flowdan Newham Generals (okay this is cheating but can't choose between D Double and Footsi...

Re: Long Live the Jazz

Only had time to give it one proper listen so far but really enjoyed it, the "Phone Call" track was a bit pointless but the rest of it was top notch. I liked that there were a couple of his older tunes on it as well such as Ignition, remember loving it when it first came out so brought a l...
