So I had an attempt at it and it totally works hahaha,I felt disgusted doing it but the results are pretty funny,you can make a pretty wide varitey of sounds I think if the sample was good enough you could make some sick basslines and noises,I only goofed around for 15 minutes so these arent amazing...

alright then i guess Im fine with that...develop as a producer, thats cool yeah man its not as simple as just tweaking settings within the synth. datsik and excision resample there basses until you wouldn't even recognize it as the original sound. just read a ton, watch tutorials, and learn synthes...

op if u cant make the sound u want, then practice,massives no magical synth that will get u the exact sound u want (expect if u use the presets, ofcourse) but really, just see it the vsts/synths as instruments themselves, i read u spent years playing various instruments, now, this is an instrument ...

1.Depends on the sound your trying to create really 2.Theres not much you can do within massive except use filters that will accentuate the mids,you also have to EQ the sound within your DAW to get exactly what you want . If you want to get deeper split the sound into it's individual frequency bands...

Open up the drum rack and just drag and drop your samples into each square,program your midi and voila,custom drums.
You should really read the manual or look in one of the MANY threads and resources before you make topics like these,you could find the answer in five minutes with a google search.

I recently got into resampling bassline in an attempt to make my own sound but i've come across a bit of an issue,its probably a super obvious answer but bear with me me,Im just getting into production.
