S(m)exoscope Sampler which good editing parameters. A rompler with good banks/shit loads of SoundFonts. My ideology is to learn how to WRITE music before you learn how to MAKE music. Give them the sounds, let them play around and figure out a work flow and let them dig deeper after. Smexoscope to g...

Make a concept album
LP, EP who cares. put together a journey through your twisted dream or the soundtrack to you at some moment in time...Even if it only makes sense to you.
You will not regret it.

keep in mind when you break in a new market you will expand exponentially until you reach the size of this market with in this general network. if your making big room choons and peaking out premature than maybe your choons aren't that great. if your hitting a creative, small market just make what y...

just a warning
I've been doing a lot of reflecting tonight. most hear don't really know my history through EDM but i'll say since 1996 I've been a part of some EDM scene in some shape or form. I've have seen the rise and fall and re-rise of every genre some times several times. And the one thing I keep noticing is...

Re: Building a low budget pc for music production.
lots of bullshit No, an i3 is not the equivalent of a Celeron - the Pentium is the new Celeron and is the budget option for Intel. Then i3, i5 and i7, with the extreme edition i7 at the top. The latest i3 has 2 cores and 4 threads with hyperthreading, but no turbo boost. Sure, it'd be nice to get a...

Re: Just getting in the habit of bouncing, couple Q's
Ahh, i'll do that to keep track of notes. But the waveform, I meant like, they do give a graphical representation of dynamics right? So if all my synths look like massive blocks, doesn't that mean i'm overcompressing? Cause I removed all compressors and it was still a block after flattening.... If ...

i always think of it like thinking of a horn section...its the groove .the accentuated notes on or off beat will be your root/chord. play it with a piano plug-in, the more velocity you pronounce a chord the more accompany should associate it.

Re: Dimension Expander vs. Gated Reverb on basses
Dimension expander is chorused short delay just fyi just curious how you know that... does it say in the manual? Dimension Expander: A combination of delay and chorus effects. The Dimension Expander creates very clear room-style spatial effects. The sound is more diffuse than DelayShort, but less c...
