Re: Clean professional songs?
Well, I guess there's no such thing as a "perfect" tune. It's too complicated and subjective for that. Different people have different preferences in sounds. Some like the drums louder, some don't. If you can manage to make your song sound good to your own years, you're on a good path. Th...

Clean professional songs?
Was wondering if there is any way to know if a track your making is perfect (I.E audio progression, and sound). I feel like my sound is too loud or too low, or too loud for certain types of sounds. Fruity limiter helps but im still in the dust. Anyone who can help me, or give me life lasting tips wo...

Re: Extracting a song for a remix?
Hmm no, sry, I don't really know a way how to extract it while keeping it sounding nice. You can try to look at where the synth hits and EQ the rest of the song out, but I don't really think you can get great and clear sounding results. It's not the song im trying to extract, it a synth i created, ...

Re: Extracting a song for a remix?
There would only be a great sounding way if you had the track with just that synth missing, because you can do the phase inversion stuff then. Yeah there is a hard saw lead synth in the song im trying to make, but, please mind me. what's phase inversion Well, when you have, say, an instrumental of ...

Extracting a song for a remix?
Hello, i need some help with a song. Im trying to do a remix on a black ops izan zombies song. I believe its in the range of 175-180. trying to get the 138-141 bpm. I was wondering if their is a way to extract a synth, without just cutting a part? or to slow down the beat? This would be great if any...

Re: Dubstep Music Theory?
just start making tunes man. try not to worry about much at first and just experiment. there are NO rules in music there are guidelines, and for rhythm purposes you might want your kick and snare to always remain on the grid, but certainly dont be afraid to throw your high hats off kilter to give a...

Re: Dubstep Music Theory?
Double-step is apparently a new drum beat, for dubstep. That is usually compared to Mode step drums and the new stlye of drums. That's what i've heard. And can explain briefly what a tetra chord is? Thanks mate.

Dubstep Music Theory?
I was wondering if their is any kind of technique that is used to produce a stable yet professional composed piece of dubstep? I know a little about octave and note sync and the 4-16 bar rule. I just need to find a way to always have a good state of mind when i want to compose a nice piece of dubste...
