I started mine the other day with a mash up of ;

ZZT - Lower State Of Consciousness (Justice remix)

although they're quite different tempos, using traktor to match them at around 110bpm it went pretty well.

My first 2-track release has now come out on Beatport (exclusive for 2 weeks) by Tharsis Records, and will be on ITunes, Junodownload & DJDownload. Id like to know more about the frequency info you guys use for pads. Do you usually just High Pass you pads around a particular frequency (where abouts?) I dont like to cut out the lower freq/textures as the pad ends up sounding too tinny/thin/high but it may just have to be done for dubstep? should...
