Woodstock NY Collaboration

Hey guys, It's been a while since I've posted, but I had to move across the country and have just now settled. I'm in Woodstock, NY now, and I was wondering if there's anyone creating dubstep in Ulster County? I'm looking for a collaboration project, or a few beers, or both. Here's a link to a few o...

Re: Feedback

Thanks for the positive remarks! They're all still works in progress... I've been working in a style where I'll work really fast on a tune, and then throw it in a folder with the rest of my ideas, named after the dates. Maybe once a month I'll go through and separate the ideas that I think could be ...

Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread

Jules Taylor www.projules.com What DAW do you use? Logic Pro, Reason 5 (RW'ed) How long have you been producing for? I've instructed a college level synth class for the last three years, but have only in the last year started actually wanting to produce entirely in the electronic realm. What VSTs do...

DubStep Project in Nashville

Hey all, I'm going to have a lot of free time in the coming month of August, and I'm posting this up as as an open invite for collaboration on a dubstep album. I'd like to collaborate with someone in the Nashville area to get 5 or 6 killer tracks done. I've got a few ideas for the direction I'm head...

Re: Help with logic autofilter/ au filter reccomendations

+1. The autofilter can be useful for some purposes. I'd love to have an AU/VST filter with LFO's that behave similarly to the modulations in Massive. Anyone on here have a goto AU Filter with a sin wave LFO (there are no sin waves on any LFO's inside Logic) they'd recommend?

DubStep Nashville

Hey all, I'm in the Nashville area and was wondering if anyone on this forum might want to get in on a dubstep collab project. I'm running Logic and Reason, but have Ableton and Pro-Tools running if need be. Mac based system, with lots of hardware controllers. PM me if you're interested. Thanks. J

Re: ES2

Note: There's not a damn sine wave on any LFO, period. Even on the autofilter.

Re: ES2

I always avoid es2 lfo, it never automates well and always seems to phase to different positions in the bar... try using the Autofiler, much more control. Come to think of it, I don't think there are any sine wave lfos in logic... shouldn't really make a difference though. If you can't find the rig...

ES2

Hey all, I just had a quick question for the ES2 users out there. This might be on another thread, and if it is, then my bad. I've noticed that there is no sin wave on any of the LFO's there... same goes for the EXS24. For those of you using the ES2 for wobble bass lines, are you simply resorting to...

Re: How filthy can Reason get?

There's a really good book out there called "Reason's Virtual Instruments". It can explain to you how to get the most from the synths. This isn't some bull**** RTFM post either. I teach music production for a college, and that's the textbook I insist on using for the class. Develop a coupl...
