Re: Phonomancer - "Challenger" (Drumstep [does this sound pr

One of my favorite mix downs for this style is Skrillex's remix of Sebastian's 'Love in Motion' (Save the Skrillex BS, there's an outstanding mixdown on that track). In that mix, everything has its own place in the mix and i...

Re: Improved sidechaining.

How I usually go about this exact thing (in Ableton) is to create a frequency splitter (Multiband Dynamics > Group >Show/Hide Chain List > Duplicate Multiband Dynamics to number of desired frequency bands > solo out designated frequencies) put a Compresser on desired frequency band and sidechain it....

Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread

What DAW do you use? Ableton Live 8 How long have you been producing for? Three years. I majored in sound engineering and studied music theory so both of those lead me to producing. What VSTs do you favour? Razor, Sylenth1, A bunch of Waves stuff What artists/labels would you say most clearly refle...

Hello. Just finished up a remix of Foster The People's 'Helena Beat' Saw them at a music festival this summer and really liked their sound so I thought I would try my hand at remixing it. Let me know what you think. Thank you!

Re: Quick question about KRK Rokit RP6/8 G2's

I've got the RP8s. Using them in a pretty small room with a little bit of deadening.
