Re: Any Guitarists in here?
The annoying thing is I can come up with good melodies and chord progressions on the guitar, but can't transfer any of it over when working with a midi keyboard. I guess it just comes down to not knowing enough theory in the end. Anyone else have this problem? If you don't know what note you're pla...

Re: Can I use Korg nanoKONTROL MIDI Controller with Razor to
Depends what DAW you are using Razor in. In Ableton I can map anything I want to the nanoKontrol, including Razors parameters. I <3 my nanoKontrol. Thanks. I'm using Sonar X1 essestials, or Home Studio 7 to fall back on. Since I'm new to this, can you give me a step by step how you do it in Ableton...

Re: Opinions wanted for my first music vid
I liked it, it was different, normally you have machine gun scene changes in metal music and this was slower in general. I'm open to change it. Do you think it would be better? I was thinking more slo mo clips, but faster flashes of them? I got some feedback: Too many hair shots, get rid of the pho...

Manually wobble, sweep existing midi bass lines etc?
I will be using Razor. Can I liven up the track with the nanokontrol to change certain values while the notes play?
I'm new to using midi controllers, I usually just mouse them in.

First attempt: Automaton 5am dub (just the main riff)
Hey peeps... There is no intro, drop etc etc. This is just the main riff for my first track. I'll be adding some drops, buildups and wobbles plus adding more variation and key/instrument changes. It's called "JUB JUB!" named after a pet rat of mine who was always up in my grill. He had no ...

Not me but a friend:
He was wasted and went to the fridge for mucnhies. He made himself a prawn sandwich, ate it and went to bed.
He got up in the morning: His mother was asking him where the pinkies were for his pet taranchula?
He basically ate a sandwich of dead/thawed baby mice.

Re: Opinions on NI Massive Threat?
Komplete Elements comes with best of massive. So I should be covered right? I don't know much about Komplete elements but from what I gather it's just a preset player ? Correct me if I'm wrong. If this is the case then to progress you really need Massive so you can get under the hood and really twe...

Re: Any Guitarists in here?
Yarp I play. I joined here as I was blown away by how heavy some dubstep is so I'm starting to sniff around forums to get production tips. Here is a clip: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10305205 To the OP, if you want to record clean/dirty guitars with delays etc you may wanna pick up Waves GTR ...
