Re: Looking for some feedback/tips
its used for diffrent things, there should be a you tube tutorial on it for fl studio, in this case you would be inputting the kick into a compressor on the synth/bass track, and make it dip in volume slightly when it hits, it may not be what it needs or may not be that effective, its just an idea t...

Re: Looking for some feedback/tips

Re: Looking for some feedback/tips
on second thought the lead definatly needs to come down as its drowning everything else out, and have you layered sub bass under the lead sound? listen to it really quietly and you will see what i mean about it drowning out the rest of the tune

Re: Looking for some feedback/tips
the lead synth is big! luv it, but the kick and snare are pretty much completely lost, have you tried layering up the snare? maybe layering a high cut kick under the snare? they either need to come up in the mix or compressed nicely to bring them out abit, also try sidechaining the kick and snare to...

Re: Embarrased about Dubstep?
I don't mind saying I like dubstep, not at all. I usually just follow it up with "I don't like sweetshop" so people know where I stand. :4: you took the words right out of my mouth, at the topic creator, if you like dubstep, and people have a problem, easy, tell them to go fuck themselves
