Re: record signings. FML

just a word of advice-- if i were running a label (which i've done), and i saw a not-yet-released artist complaining about my label on an extremely-relevant-to-the-scene message board, i'd cancel your release. He's not complaining, just worried and impatient, I think that's normal 100% ain't dissin...

Re: comparison for a record lable constructive criticism ple

hi! Can(t listen to the redone track. The first one is great though, even if i'm not generally too much into drumstep, i really like this one! It is long between 1:36 and 2:21, though not boring. What i'd do, is put a break at 1:59: if you add and develop the part at the end (from 2:22), it'd give ...

comparison for a record lable constructive criticism please!

hey guys, i recently got in contact with "Dirt Lies Audio" record lable and the said that they liked one of my songs, but i had to add more vairation in the bassline to keep audiences interested, i was just wondering if you could listen to the before and after and tell me your thoughts? ch...

Re: constructive critisism needed!!!

Well done!!! I think it would make a great record for a dj looking to mix vocals over or something along those lines. As a stand alone track i think it gets a little monotonous, but again I think it would make a great addition to a set esp. if theyre using three turntables, looking to scratch or, o...

Thoughts on flux pavilion?

ok, so it seems to me that flux pavilion has a certain "marmite" quality to him, (love it or hate it). i personally like some of his stuff. but apparently he grew most of his scene on DubstepForum, having seen the pure hatred for skrillex i would have thought that flux's sometimes headachy...

Re: production software!

i really wish i knew what you guys were on about hahaha :D that's the advantage of being self taught, you make the best of what you have and make sure it sounds good, like the song in my signiture, that was with FL9, tbh i think it's more the way you use it, rather than what you've got. more like t...

Re: production software!

i honestly love it, because of how easy it is to use, i mean it has a very clear timeline and it's just really simple to use, i'm a selftaught person and i have no idea about metering etc and all of the compression, but the thing is i don't really have to know about it to be able to use it, where as...

i really need some help!! feedback

ok so here is the start of a song i made in about 20mins, i'm not usually someone who is considered to produce "filth" but i was just messing around with a 10x osc and heads up this started, so i started workin on a DNB beat, but it just didn't fit so i tried a drumstep beat, workes perfec...

Re: FEEDBACK:: New BADMAN (DnB) ReMiX!

is good man! the mix is alright, the main synth needs turning up JUST a tiny bit, just so that it's over the top instead of dominated by the sub, but i'm not sure how you wanted it to sound, if the sub was supposed to be dominant then all good

Re: TeK9 - RockNRoll

I LOVE IT!!!! really good style man!! think you definatly have the noisia influence, have you heard noisia ft foriegn beggars contact? to me that music is like a really good mix of dancy-bass-funk cos it's got the drums at normal time (not half time) and it's got the bass wobbling around like a fat ...

Re: Tutor

aatish, the starting blocks are the main way to develop your own style, my advice is just click around see what you like see what works and make ur song ur own way, using a tutorial or someone elses influence usually makes you copy their style, just mess around with a few things and develop your own...
