When my file names end up looking like Project (crashed)(crashed)(crashed).logic. Sucks when some plugins get finnicky

Re: The March
NIce sounds man and its got a good flow to it. I really dig that snare too. Only thing I wasn't sure about was the transition from the drop to the break. It felt a little abrupt and out of place. Also, the 4/4 signature change at the end worked; nice touch. Overall I really liked it, good work!

Re: Actraiser - Big, Heavy, & Deep Dubstep Track
Got a nice chill big room vibe. Sounds pretty clean too. Maybe could use a bit louder of a sub to give a bigger feel to the track. Overall I really like it though nice job mate!

Re: Testmode [captiv] - Light (free 320)
I like it, but i really dont like when it goes to the 4/4 beat in the middle, production sounds good. The intro reminded me of a top 40 or pop melody, like something you would hum along with. The high pitched wobbs sound nice too

Re: Free (Sick) Dubstep Track!
im on my laptop speakers atm, but sounds like the whole treble of your mix is a bit loud, just slightly, maybe 1-2db. I can't hear your kick at all, but then again I'm on laptop speakers. Just a few tweaks and it will sound worlds better

Re: FEEDBACK on my first track?? I'd be happy to check yours
Sounds good, it'd be cool if you had a defined drop though, and as you said lyrics would solve the problem of repetitiveness. For mastering stuff, I would search for stuff on this forum, tons of threads with good tid bits of information.

Re: Psyberia - Up and coming, bassed up dub
1st tune - the dance vocals that are in there are really hard to here, and your drums get a lot quieter after the 1st drop. Some of your wobbles that come in (0:58) are waaay too loud in the mix and offbeat. did you sample a complete riff from another song cuz I can hear 2 sets of kicks and snares i...

Re: Making a tune from an accapella
I love making tunes from accapellas! Here's what I usually start with: I usually download the accapella and the actual song, load them both into my DAW and match the vocals up to that. Then I'll either make a cut every 2/4/6/8 bars or whatever and timestretch them to the new tempo, or just stretch ...

Yea as everyone else has said, definitely download Ham VST; has some really warm synths. and the Ham sample pack is good too, around 5 gigs of pro samples

Re: Lil Jon-Outta Your Mind DUB
i like the intro, your midrange synth sounds muddy to me, its competing with the vox. try making some room for that and I think it'll sound solid.

So chaotic haha, but not in a bad way. Everything has so much energy to it, not my taste of drumstep, but its good for the style that you're going for

this for me too definitely. I found this forum and all the knowledge on here, especially from macc. Made my tunes so much fatter, I got all excited and think it made me put more effort into learning about more thingsfragments wrote:Gain structure/mix down
