actually do you have any advice about using eqs for mixes? ive been having trouble getting my mixdowns good because even if i turn everything down in the mix so its not so packed, something always stands out too much and my drums always sound weak

really digging the sub vibe but it kinda drowns out everything else. turn up the vocals and the snare drum, the kick drum is loud enough but theres no snare. otherwise, nice work dude! sounding wicked

And about the subgenre thing, there are obviously tons of subgenres within dubstep that mostly go unnamed, I believe. I mean really, just think of all of the different influences you hear when you listen to the broad spectrum of dubstep. Although influences don't necessarily warrant the 'subgenre' ...

i like the bass sounds you use, but you should make the filthy sections way longer and maybe add some more to the drop like a sweep or something. also just add some effects to the synths so they dont sound so bare. otherwise, nice start man!
