if you lowpass his track at 100 hz it still peaks at like -2 db. i think alot of it has to do with how its mixed. the bass takes up the majority of the dynamic range, and appears to be a pure sine Would you say he side chains his kicks or just has bare sub down there ... this is a very helpful obse...

Mate I get that ... I've been trying all of that and like I get the EQ thing not too hard but the compression how do i know when it sounds unnatural and stuff and like so does gain structure matter all tht much?!

However actually getting it to a high quality without clipping and loud is nearing impossible. Now I use Logic Pro 9 and I've been down the limiting your ass off road before ...
