Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!

@Alexandercunningham - cool sound man, sounds quite James Blake esque to me with those vocals. I would take the kicks level down quite a bit and up the snare/clap. Also mess around with the velocities on the hats, sounding a wee bit mechanical to me. @mthrfnk - sweet vibes going on here man nice one...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@Cthulhu - nice intro man and big ups if its your first track in logic. hard DAW to get your head around. however, at the drop i think the bottom end is too muddy and some instruments are clashing. ya need to clear up some space in the track. eq out everything that doesnt need to be there. @Standby ...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@freakquency - sounding a LOT better, but still needs some work. That mono'd bass at the start now really gives the track some focus, whereas before it was just awash with stereo image. Good improvement. Keep at it though, there is still a little eq needed to make the elements to keep to themselves...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@freakquency - first and foremost dude (and to everyone reading this) - that's how you bloody leave feedback! Need more people like you on this forum dude :) Intro is from the original flute sample (there's about 3-4 parts to it that I was provided). The original sample, I have no idea where it's f...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@freakquency Really love the vibe of the track. When it kicks in I feel it lacks just a touch at the high end. The second drop is a little better in that sense. Thought the build at the beginning was superb though. With my track, you say the drums are a little drowned out.. what would you suggest i...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@DJ Sampletank - sweet track. i feel it could be the soundtrack to a zombie movie or something - which is a compliment dont worry maybe a change in the lfo rate of the bitcrushed vowel synth would sound even better and more interesting @Burgeamon - nice track overall. the mixing of it could be bette...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

first post after lurking for a while. thought it was time to get involved. @Darj - very nice sounding mix and a great sub you got going there. just could do with a little more variation in the track? maybe chuck in a key change. loving it otherwise. chilllled @Mammoth - nice tune overall. good use o...
