Did you try panning and adding stereo width to your instruments?

on everything
But really, on anything that needs fattening/saturation. Mostly on kicks and snares, basses, sometimes hihats (mostly just the color knob).

Re: Why ya'll should be blessing up SubFM as much as you can
Very nice post. I think you're spot on that the new generation is "in it for themselves." It might be due to everyone trying to be the next skrillex you know?
I usually get a pm on youtube/soundcloud or whatever and its some guy who says he's skrillex influenced and that he's been producing for ...

Re: Really need feedback on this, WastelanDUB- Raw ideas
The melody doesn't sound in key and sometimes clashes with the bass. There's also no flow, the song doesnt have any direction and is pretty much the same lead with varying effects. You could probably refine this and make it something good if you added some structure and other melodies.

People won't give you feedback unless you actually leave the soundcloud player in your post, not just a link.

Re: Doody Bass- Mean Muggin' and The Slip. (Dubstep)
On the first one the bass drum is drowned out by your bass, eq and sidechain then properly mix the track down. The second one is pretty repetitive imo and sounds identical to the first one.

Re: Ultra high precision motion tracking.
I found out about this like 2 months ago I was going to post it here but I forgot
good thing someone else did! Looks fantastic!
The first thing I thought about was producing with it. But could you imagine djing with it instead of a midi controller? o.O Minority Report esque shows lol.

I was being a little harsh in the beginning but reading a few post the past couple of days were just getting me ticked off,
But seriously, there should be a place on DSF for advanced production.
If you dont like it dont post there, but it should be an option.
But how would they filter out ...

Re: Mac Users; 2.5 or 2.9 GHz
EDIT: Sorry didnt read the whole OP. 2.9 ghz is fine for playing shows (I use my 2.8 ghz for live). But if you're going to be producing I recommend you read this whole post.
I would go with the quadcore 2.3 ghz if that's an option for you.
I produce on the late 2011 2.8 ghz dual core and a early ...

Re: What Kind of Cigarette Do You Smoke?
Hate Ports. Used to smoke them and Marb Reds on occasion, but I always woke up with shit in my throat. I only smoke when I produce and drink, so it's really not a big deal tbh, and Marb menthol hasn't let me down.
