Re: Thoughts on WOW Filter?

Idk why WOW is getting so much hate--it can do some really great things If you're trying to put in a bit of talking to your basslines :] The Band Reject and Bandpass are both dope, has a nice built in distortion knob, lfos and envelop followers. It's not for every sound obviously, but its definitely...

Re: Subbass Question

Either lop on a sub to the bottom end of your main bass, (ie in massive, just add a pure sine wave tuned down to the 30-80hz range) Side chain to ze kick drum and process the whole thing all together OR Make a separate sub that follows the original bassline but isn't synthesized with the bassline it...

Re: How many hours do you average on a track?

Each time I write a tune I end up releasing, it ends up taking more and more time. My last tune clocked out at 25 hours, but my first track a year or so ago I finished in like 6, 7 hours. I know alot more about mixing, compression, eq and other sorts of misc stuff now though, so incorporating all of...

a0ta & Vonzie - Lasers [Complextro]

Hey dsf, just finished up a new track with a friend of mine. It's a pretty heavy electro/complextro track with reeses abound, pretty pleased with how it came out.

Feedback would be lovely (and reciprocated!) :corndance:

Re: Vonzie - Melodies and Shit [ElectroHouse]

Nah, It's a vengance sample with a bit of eqing, reverb, distortion, and compression (in that order)

But its layered at some parts with a bit crushed whispy sort of noise, might be what's giving that phaseyness...

At any rate, thanks for listening/crit : ]

Just fuck around homie!
Also, when you watch a youtube video make sure you have your DAW up and follow along--otherwise your kinda missing the point.

Good luck

Re: How I do my drums... Right or wrong?

I mean, this all depends on the track dude, so I can't really give you a straight answer. Your eqing should be dependant upon the samples your using--Also I wouldn't enhance the sub on the bass drum (Assuming were talking things less than 50-60hz here) because then it'll muddle up your sub you feel ...

Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread

What DAW do you use Fl Studio How long have you been producing for? Year and a half? Something around there. What VSTs do you favour? Massive, Fm8, Melodyne, Slicex, What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound? Well, I used to sound a lot like Baths/Teebs (I was making alot of...
