Re: Hey b*t*h Consider replacing your battery
That's weird. Might try doing a System Restore to before the problem started. I know there are settings that throttle the power of your CPU and whatnot to give you longer battery life but I wouldn't think having your battery crap out would make Windows change any of 'em on it's own. If you use the i...

Re: Effects before filtering
wut? So you want the filter to come after the effects in the signal path? Some synths allow you to mess with the signal path and have some decent built-in effects but I think I'd just do everything separately. Synth, then your effects plugins, then a filter plugin with LFO. You can throw all that in...

You've pretty much answered your own question. You just produced your first full dubstep song.
It takes time. Keep making tracks and studying.

Its a shame culture has robbed him of his anti hero status and he's now inadvertently become part of what he was so intrinsically opposed to. Same thing that caused Kurt to blow his face off. :corntard: Dude... no... thats not what happened... if he wanted to be anti-hero or shadowy or whatever, he...

Run the installer and make sure to set the VST location to whatever Ableton has set as the default location.

Re: Girlfriends
Thats the state of this industry and I think thats why not a lot of women actively push their music because theres not many people willing to take a risk in a female artist unless there is sex-appeal to sell along side it. Its actually sickening. The music industry is the music industry. If you don...

Re: Mac or Windows for LIVE PERFORMANCE?
I was thinking that Macs could be more used and better because they won't crash on you or update and slow down as much as windows do Why do people still think Windows crashes often? It's not 98. I keep my laptop booted up 24/7 and it never crashes. It goes for months sometimes without me restarting...

Re: Drake producer Noah “40” Shebib sound...
Is that really what you think it is? I'm talking the drum, not the bass. I've gotten pretty close by taking a sample and cloning it, then distorting the clone and bandpassing it to get only the 400-600, and putting them together, but it's not exact. Of course the drum. Why would he be using an 808 ...

Homeboy has a 2ghz dual core and 2.8gb of RAM. If we're going to start talking about a "serious" setup, he'd need to upgrade everything.symmetricalsounds wrote:na man, 5400rpm drives just cant handle any serious audio work.

Ableton Cubase Deck (hahah - that was on old one, but I made some tracks with it that made it on my releases) so that's 3 I guess. I worked a fair amount in Pro Tools as well, but not in a typical DAW way, more just for tracking voice over sessions. What in the world is Deck? I've heard of tons of ...

Re: Ableton CPU going crazy on decent spec laptop?
Could it be the fact that I am using the in built shitty realtek high definition audio driver? get the asio4all drivers also what speed is your hard drive? most laptop drives are 5400rpm which is no good for audio, need 7200rpm. 5400rpm is fine. If drive speed becomes that big of a problem, you can...

I just watched it a bit ago. I'd give it a 7/10. It could definitely be better but I was entertained and it was pretty inspiring.
