If so your money would be better spent on getting people through the door rather than your own system Exactly this...you could hire out a decent club, get in a pretty big headliner and push some extensive promotion for that price. Most clubs you will get al...

Re: where and what are the shittest Cdjs/Turntables you've u

Not so much bad cdjs but a djm800 that was completely fucked - even with the channel fader all the way down the sound still came out the front, so had to beat match out loud basically. This was at a very well-known club too. I told the sound tech guy about it and he basically told me to fuck off..

Re: Such a powerful snare?

To be honest it sounds pretty much the same as what you have except with a high passed crashed with a shortish delay over the top of it, perhaps boost some of the highs in the snare too.

Re: Buying my first DJ equipment.

You could pick up a couple of older model pioneers for around 800 on gumtree, along with a cheap mixer.
The mixer is kind of essential to...you know, mix.

A vague as fuck description i know but really hoping someone knows which one i mean, seems to have been reloaded every time ...

Yo Objekt, big fan over here :D Saw you play not too long ago in manchester and your set was epic (from what i remember)! On the subject of playing live what are you favourite tunes to play out at the moment? Do you have any go-to stompers which you find yourself playing in every set? I remember the...

Re: Dubstep and Drugs

Drugs aren't associated with dubstep any more than any other underground edm style.
I'd say that most of the time you go to see a less chart-friendly dj there will be people on drugs. It just comes with dance music.
