I just wanted to say thanks everyone for the feedback. It means a lot to me!
Also, @cheeky, you're right, I sent it in anyways, oh well. I really wish I could drop college to produce, but I've come so far and I graduate in May.
Also, big thanks for turning me on to Koven, great stuff. Also, I think ...

I'm digging those crispy claps. Your vocals are sweet. I'm curious, how'd you get that set up? Someone you know lay down some verses for you? Regardless, I'm digging this track, it's got a good, kind of "earlier" (less progressively wild I guess) dubstep feel to it. Reminds me of ...

Your drum roll around 0:31, I feel is a bit loud compared to the rest of your mix. I really like your drums throughout the rest of the track though. Another detail I really like is how you pan the squelchy/bouncy bass throughout the mix, good sense of movement here. Around 1:28 I'd ...

Re: How is Seven Lions so smooth??
It's true. Seven Lions could very well be a bedroom producer
with access to some very good synths capable of producing some smooth pads.
Personally, I really enjoy his music, his treatment of composition,
I feel it's different from most other chill-step producers and to my ear it's good.

Rejinx - TrackOne [Dubstep - Ambient]
This is essentially the first full track I've made.
I know it could use a lot of improving so I'm curious to hear any and all feedback.
Thanks in advance!

I like your second iteration of the track. It feel more clean and the levels seem to work much better.
I would try to get that main bass to pop a little more, try to give it a little more high register frequencies and cut some from elsewhere.
Or bring in some other high FREQ sounds. Sounds ...

Okay, first time at this, so don't take my advice too seriously if you don't want to, here we go.
@subperfect -
Very deep, sinister, and above all it's subtle. You are using some great drums.
I'd try widening your build effects/ hats to give them that big surprising feel.

Re: FM8 "Yea Boy" Talking Synth Tutorial
Thanks for all the feedback guys, and yes! I noticed that when using the talk/wah wheel it kills the sound, so I'll work with the method Rando and Sunny Describe. I look forward to your video Rando!

FM8 "Yea Boy" Talking Synth Tutorial
Massive is cool, but not a lot of people know the power of FM8.
So here's a little tutorial I cooked up for you guys.
For Clarity sake, my DAW is Ableton Live 8.
SOUNDS LIKE THIS:

Re: Monstros Birthday Song! Monstro - Locust
Hey Monstro,
I'm not very big in the music world, but I can critique the crap out of design work.
However I'll try my best here.
I think you have a great structure to the over all song, it's got good variation , which is the most important, in my opinion.

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Didn't know feedback was a requirement, I'm new to music so I didn't figure I was in any position to judge, things like "I like it" are useless comments, sorry.
I didn't gate anything on my track, not sure what was being referred to by "gater."
When I get home I will do my best to critique some of ...

Re: Rejinx - Croak (Experimental/First Track Ever)
First off thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. I'm a graphic designer so music production is kind of new to me, but so far I love it, I keep procrastinating on my homework and commissions to work on developing my sound, haha.

Need suggestions for the drop
Also I want to get rid of the texture close to the beginning that make it sound like something from "My little pony"
Any Ideas?
