Feelin' this one. Great sounds throughout. My only complaint is that most of the growls and midrange sound stacked in the middle of the stereo image and could use a touch more presence.

It needs more space, specifically on the snare, rimshot, growls and FX. I really hate that sliced / stretched vocal thing. I don't think it adds much to the track and gets pretty annoying after a while. You might try replacing it with a deep pad.

Beyond that you're off to a good start.

I agree with the idea of learning every aspect of your DAW, whichever you choose. You're going to have a lot of throwaway tracks when you first get started anyway, so it's a good time to learn basic techniques.

That said, like it or not, Massive is great for learning. Its UI is very intuitive and ...

It might sound cliche, but do it for the love of doing it or GTFO. I've never met an artistic person who didn't go through periods of self-doubt and/or a lack of motivation. If you're really down about it, take a break for a few weeks and start fresh later.

I get sounds from all over. Freesound is a good free resource for almost anything if you're willing to do some searching and processing.

Everything seems fairly clean, mix-wise.

The sub could use a bit more weight, I think. Some drum fills (and possibly some well-placed gates) would give the track more movement. The drops (especially the first) need more impact.
