Re: can this be done??
no, i have almost no res. I am working in low levels. I know the importance of gain and headroom. i dont think it has anything to do with that. even when i turn that sound way down to the point of not hearing it through the other sounds it will still massively jump in the main mixer. All my channels...

Re: use of chords.. help?

use of chords.. help?
so im starting to wrap my head around the technical side of chords, modes, progressions and all that fun stuff. My question is this, do you guys use chords with your basslines? to me doing this adds a bit more dynamics than all the single notes and kinda jumbles the sound up. or do you just use them...

Re: Anyone else making Techno?
i dont get why people call it techno... thats exactly like calling it electro. its such a huge a broad music classification. technically you could call house, dubstep, glitchhop, moombahton techno because its all techno- logy music. techno seems like a candy kid term haha

Re: music theory help. chords?
Which is why, in Massive for example, some programmed sounds have three oscillators tuned to 0, +3 and +7 semitones - they create a minor chord 'within' the sound, so that you press one note and it gives you, essentially, a minor chord. Google ravenspiral - it's the best music theory guide on the n...

Re: producing at 280 bpm??
but you can still build awsome beats in 140. if you want faster hits just put those hits where u can change em to sixteenths or even thirty second notes. Ive never gone that fast with any genre. highest ive gone is 190. thats how I would appraoch this tho.
