Whenever I go and make a drop to a song, I feel like it isn't heavy or loud enough. Even my friend pointed that out earlier today. I'm not sure what to do to fix this. It might be just adding bass or I'm that dumb. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

In search of a filter
Not just any filter. I've been searching for a filter that's kind of like the default one in Ableton. Can't find one that has a line like the Ableton one. Thanks!

So I'm pretty much stumped when it comes to pads, I can never seem to make them, let alone know when to use them. So help please? (: Thanks in advanced!

Halp me make that sound!:D (NOT SKRILLEX)
As you all know you've seen 9354535 'How to make that Skrillex bass' thread. Well this isn't one of them. This is a thread to help me make that kind of bass Excision uses. His bass isn't quite like Skrillex's it's more 'electronic' simply put. If you need an example here: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Getting the right things for me
I've done the 30 Fruity Loops trial, and I was hooked for it. So I decided I'm going to buy it. Plus I've seen many videos on it and the support seems great.Triphosphate wrote:Hey why not try reaper for 30 days for free before you decide on spending money on this at all? You can start producing tonight heh.

Re: Getting the right things for me
If you do get a midi controller (keyboard) make sure you have a powerful enough soundcard or an interface like the Mbox, when you connect a midi controller with USB there can be latency. As for FL, the bundle is worth it: -SNIP- You can very easily get away with the producer pack, but I'd get the b...

Re: Getting the right things for me
I wouldn't suggest fruity edition. Definitely producer edition or signature bundle. I have the bundle and love it. Explain your reasoning, why should I buy that version? Does it have better features? Don't start with Massive or any paid VST's. Start with 3x osc (comes with FL Studio), and study syn...

Oh that's great. Is there any other hardware/software I should look into buying?Jacob15728 wrote:Fruity edition then get your own VST's of your choice. You don't need a keyboard.

Getting the right things for me
For a while now I've been wanting to produce. And I've set my mind for buying FL Studio. The problem is I'm not sure which edition to get. Fruity, or Producer. But the problems don't end there I'm also stumped on what kind of keyboard to buy. Any help to this is appreciated! Thanks in advance! :corn...
