Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune/EP/album that....)
I've asked about this one before, and no one could get it, but now I have a clip of it:
It uses a sample from Sin City: Mickey Rourke saying "This is the old days, and the bad days, the all or nothing days."
This clip is from T-Minus and Shambles' Renegade Dub Sesh from 2008-08-02.

Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune that....)
Can anyone identify the track or tracks in this rip from "ARCHIVE_-_2010-10-24_-_NEBA_Presents_Bassface_Radio_From_The_Bucket" off of dubstep.fm?
Specifically, at about 1:35 of this soundcloud rip, and then 1:50 (can't tell if it's two different tracks or not) - I guess that's straight-up "Gotta ...

Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune that....)
Anyone know the tune that's kinda slow and sad, with a dude who sounds like a wise, kinda old Jamaican, talking about what sounds like a relationship dissolving. He says something like: "... poor excuse. There's nothing left to defend ... she knows not why ... into darkness her heart descends ...

Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune that....)
What's that tune where there's a guy saying "This is the old day, and a bad day ..." along with what sounds like hard electric guitar chords?
Thanks!
do you mean this?

Re: "if it wasnt for brostep"
Some music is good; some music is bad.
What bothers me is going to festivals and seeing attractive women just get aggressively and relentlessly hit on the whole time (this is a trait that I associate with bro-ness (sorry to judge), and is honestly the only real problem I have with "them"). Isn't ...

Re: When you stumble across a gem...
Yes! Thank you for this thread! "Stumbling across a gem" is a really good way to describe most of the reason that I love this genre. And it's really hard to articulate what exactly makes a gem - that kind of ethereal, transcendant melody that just floats over the bass. Somewhere between boring ...

Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune that....)
Ok, how about this one: it's a remix of Nelly Furtado's "Maneater," her vocals are pitch-shifted up and they're pretty quiet, with I guess what I would call a minimalist driving bass and drums. Sorry I don't have the example - it's in a mix I downloaded but now I can't find it, and it's driving me ...

Re: Tune IDs (Whats the name of that tune that....)
Does anyone want to help me dissect this awesome FSTZ mix? I've probably listened to this thing 100 times. It has 3 amazing high points as far as I can tell, and I would love if someone could identify them (sorry it will take awhile for the whole thing to load):

Re: [emo] Dubstep to make you cry...[\emo]
whoa, FSTZ, you made that remix of Telepopmusik's Smile? I've had that on loop for the past few days. And so far, it is the epitome of this thread, for me.
this thread is awesome. for me it is a little less about the emo-ness of certain tracks as it is the sort of "transcendent sounds" that they ...
