waveform inversion to get vocals only

ok, so I want to remix Linkin Park - Numb, so I got the instrumentals and the regular song. Now, I want to get just the vocals too, and someone told me that I can do that by doing a wave inversion, subtracting the instrumentals from the regular track to get the vocals alone.. How do I get the vocals...

more speech voices

I tried a search but didn't find any other topics... sorry if this was already posted.. where can I download more voice plugins for the speech synthesizer? Cuz I mean that thing is awesome, but sorta limited.. If there are not other voices to get, are there other speech synthesizers?

thought this would be more obvious but its not when you say 'bounce it out to audio' what does that mean? and problem with Edison, when I insert the speech in the mixer and through Edison and into the song, it plays a weird out of order version of the speech... but when played in Edison, or as a pat...

Yes, that is exactly what I meant, thank you both.. oh, hang on, by "record it directly to Edison" do you mean just assign the speech to a mixer track and assign the Edison synthesizer thing to it?

Ok, so I don't know a lot about how FL-Studio, but I've used similar programs so I know some stuff.. I have a sentence that the speech synthesizer read and I can edit that on the Piano Roll, and I can feed that into a synthesizer in the mixtrack... wow, thanks for all the replies... sorry I missed so many replies.. anyway, I know I didn't give it enough time, but I tried some of the free plugins.. (SUCH A VALUABLE PAGE/LINK, THANK YOU!) I know it's one of the more basic synths out there, but at least for now, 3xosc is good enough for my needs....

Ok, so I just bought the Producer's Edition of FL, realized that I should have gotten the pack signature thing.. cuz that includes Sytrus.. damn. Anyway, is there anything I can use to make a wobbling bass like Sytrus, but that I don't have to pay $100 something dollars for? I just got FL-Studio... ...
