Re: FL studio rendering sounding completely diferent to proj

Make sure your quality settings are the same for playback and rendering. Check the settings when you render and make the playback settings match. Does that make sense? Aw yeah bud been usin FL now a couple of years i knows about all that, really weird i dont have my soundcard here or my speakers, i...

Re: Constant FL studio crashes

*Update - I see it's in a particular project you have. Looks like massive is the culprit, and sounds like it is cracked. there is an easy fix for this but i am not sure on DSF's stance on advice on how to fix that so i wont say any more. But i guarantee it is massive, google it and find out how to f...

Re: Constant FL studio crashes

It is more than likely a plugin problem. Try uninstalling massive and albino and see if this solves the problem.

Re: Dynamic Panning

Panning is indeed just left and right but you can achieve a sense of Y and Z axis from the following techniques in my experience when combined with automated panning. EQ or filter to push back or bring the sounds forward in a mix - Higher register is closer to the front of the mix, lower registers a...

FL studio rendering sounding completely diferent to project

Alright folks, Just want to pick your collective brains here i've been inactive there for a long time due to life shit but i'm back in the game now. The issue is a simple and straightforward one and it's the topic of this thread. Have my mixdown and master done in FL sounds the way i want it, as soo...

Re: Getting Phasing with parallel compression

This is caused by the fault of FL's plugin delay compensation system. Put a passthorugh copy of the same compressor on your dry track, like with the ratio at 0... itll stop... probably fix itsself once rendered too. Ive followed this issue very steadily, used FL since FL5, and its forever been my O...

Re: Getting Phasing with parallel compression

Update: Seems it was the fruity stock compressors causing the phasing, (Fruity compressor, limiter, maximus) all caused it. Downloaded a free compressor vst and it works fine. Wiped my cpu recently so all my free vsts were gone was prob why i didnt have that problem before cause i didnt use the stoc...

Re: Getting Phasing with parallel compression

Aight updated to the latest version, it's a strange one my kicks arent phasing in the slightest, using wavecandy vectorscope on the master with only the 3 tracks going out. The kick is prefect not a bit of that nonsense. It;s the snare though it doesnt matter what sample i use or how many the snares...

Re: Getting Phasing with parallel compression

I was on 10.0.2 before i wiped it and i dont recall the problem then again i have pieces of my brain hanging out my head from the sheer volume of bits i've been in over december so the memory isnt serving me very well at the moment. I'll update to 10.0.2 from the fl site now my copy is currently 10....

Getting Phasing with parallel compression

Howaya's folks, been away for most of christmas havent done much posting. Just got my new B8XA deluxes in and they are absoloutly amazing. But they have confirmed what i was fearing and that is that i am getting pretty bad phasing with parallel compression. I'm a seasoned FL studio user, i know abou...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@Lifeofcows, That is funky out the door son for 5 days it's brilliant, the mixdown is real nice and the panning is class! Beautiful pad in the break and the arp has alot of power in this track but doesnt take away from any of the other elements. And the HP on the drums at the start made smile drums ...

Re: drones

Layer a couple of synths and sounds even vocals, blur, time stretch, walla. My best advice to you is to piss around with as many sounds as you can and with time stretching and right reverbs and chorus you'll make some cracking dronescapes. If you are lazy, buy a rompler like Omnisphere that has love...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@Atticuh, Commented on yer soundcloud bud, great track @Flippity, At the start, perhaps replace the phaser on that synth you have leading through the intro with chorus, turn the osc's on the chorus down to 0, play around with the stereo, reduce the depth to about 2 and play with the crossfade you'll...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

http://soundcloud.com/zachkutz/bow-down I just started using massive with cubase and I ended up with this. Could I get some constructive criticism? You wont get anywhere like that lad, give feedback to at least 3 people before posting your WIP. The more people you give feedback the more you will re...
