I had the opportunity to compare 15 studio headphones and I ended up buying the sony 7506 if that helps.

Not missing any frequencies, no overboosted frequencies, works like a charm! If you dont buy them for 60 bucks, send them to me, I buy a second par haha!

Your waveform doesn't change overtime, it's the frequency "tricking" your ears it does. Higher frequency basically means you're playing the waveform faster, and lower frequency means the opposite. If there was a plugin that compensates between frequency change and adjusting your waveform, ...
