Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Kongret Everything is good, needs more punch though in my opinion, and it seems a little too atmospheric my opinion. @Withsler Needs a bit of cleanup and more things going on during the drop, or some more fattening up wouldn't hurt. Overall, not bad. @Travis The organ-ish synth is slightly annoying...

Re: How To Make This Sound - August 2012
I know this sound is pretty common at 1:15, that weird phaser-y kind of in/out sound that Feed Me also uses sometimes in his songs. Can something quickly tell me how to make it...? Much appreciated, thanks!

So you mean something a little more like this? @LifeOfCows
Boosted the high ends a bit, changed up drums a tat, added some groove.
Yeah

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Anyways, heres my feedback to you peeps: @ZankUSA: Pretty fun to listen to. I must say its pretty repetitive, and it would help a TON if you boost the high end a bit, or just excite it (works either way for me :D) But cool track. @InTheCrowd Not Bad! Try adding more synths though. That would definit...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@dj Cappa Lay off the distortion. Some supersaw leads won't hurt. Repetitive synths. Not extremely interesting, spice it up with more interesting drums. Disliked the highpitched thing in the beginning, hurt my ears. But its not bad! :D @E-T-F Very dark. I don't usually like dark music, but this is e...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Pyrez Bass is too much for me. A little treble outside the drums wouldn't be so bad. Sounds in the beginning could've been a bit more elaborate. @Standby interesting. Quiet and peaceful. Very minimal. Repetitive but fun to listen to. Keep up the good work. @ScarletCyanide Lack of bass in the beginn...

Can anyone help me get that screechy sound at 0:55 and then at 1:02 then at 1:29? Thanks, I've been dying to get it for a while now.

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Flippity Pretty good, not my type of dubstep, but pretty good. Needs some mastering (I would increase the treble a bit) but overall, I like it. @atticuh Sneaky sounds. Love the style. The only criticism is the mistake a lot of dubstep artists make: You need to keep the listener interested in the so...

Hey guys, I need help with finding the sound that comes up at 1:24 and repeats throughout the chorus in multiple variations - that slow phaser like sound. Thanks!

Re: Barbosa - Light Walking (Deep Dubstep)
Its pretty decent, try lowering the volume on that pad sound during the deep sinewave bass. And more instruments will help! If you can't figure out what instruments, just experiment and ravage through samples or take samples from songs. Yeah. Good luck with your music!

@jclarkeiv Pretty relaxing, but you might want to put more variation in it, more significant instruments. @SunShaft No doubt about it, badass. Amazing tune. Might want to put a slight amount of whitenoise into the background. @Darj Nice and simple! Fun to listen to. Well mastered. Good bass balance....

I love the abstract sounds! Now, for some feedback. Positive: -It is awesomely structured. -Epic sounds -Good Balanced Bass -Mastered Well Negative: - at around 1:06ish, the plain wobble slightly drowns out the rest of the music, I don't really like that. -Isn't extremely catchy, but has a lot of po...

Re: FM8 Skrillex Growl (TUTORIAL)
Damn, I've searched for a decent tutorial for skrillex growls for a while. I'm not gonna troll at @Noisestorm, just set it on public. I heard Skrillex uses vowel formants and big EQ shifting after he gets the basic growling structure out of FM8, maybe that will help you guys. But seriously, if this ...
