Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Budspencertron - Your drop sent shivers down my spine but the intro I felt was a little flaccid. the rest of the tune kept me groovin high. mthrfnk - Dig the backwards stuff, always been a fan of those weird envelope curves. I feel the progression can bee condense it seemed a little strung out. love...

Re: Illegally Downloading Music
I think taking out stubhub and similar websites could help drop ticket sales. selling tickets to the fans instead of scalpers. dont think i'm so close minded, i totaly went off the rails with my whole take down the fed attitude. its just as a world citizen and a musician i dont really see how enabli...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
life of cows - just wondering if its finished, why are you posting it here. i like the synth sounds, some of the harmonic progression is a little to doo-wop for me, and i kinda wanted more from the drums. I'm not to technically inclined so i have nothing to say about mix down or what ever. CrewCutz ...

Re: Finished Tunes For Feedback - Nov/Dec 2011
kolorize- I love it, its like the 80's set in the future europe. rocking sythns. the drums sound kinda cheesy at some points but it just adds the the 80s vibe that i crave. Darj - I love the minimalism of the intro, the space adds to the deep feel. this reminds me of mafia. phat attack on those bass...

Alexandercunningham - I love the synth at the beginning but i don't think that drum hit fits, but when the other drums come in i love the vibes, Chilean grooves. Tell me what you think of this unfinished tune... http://soundcloud.com/audiothief/im-only-posting-this-to-show What do you mean about th...

Re: Skrillex assistance. NO, this is not about bass or leads
This was my attempt. I put a reverb on just the snares, turned the dry/wet to about 25-30% and pumped the decay time to about 6-7 seconds.

i do probably 80% of all my synth work in operator, not really sure what to tell you apart from spend more time getting to know it. read the section in the manual about operator, that might give you some good places to start exploring more. i spent a lot of time the last few days getting more into ...
