Re: Sick Visuals on a Glitch Hop/Dubstep/100bpm channel
I think the tune got more in common with old 16bit classic sonic games then with XXXstep or another label which doesnt makes sense. For me its like this: Brostep = shitty Music This = great tune, great production, it wants me to turn the volume up instead of brosteppish-down and thinking bout blue h...

Re: WHAT SNEAKERS YOU WEARIN?
wearing 11 euro sneakers from primark / germany, which I bought last winter, cause my converse started to disappear into thin air.
thanks to the wonders of shoe goo I am still wearing them.
Its kind of an experiment, more than a shoe tbh.

Re: Easy Mastering
will try this again today!
my mixes peak without the comp around -20 to -13 dB, which seems ideal for another test round.
but good to know that hunting that overcompressed FlyLo sound is possible too!
what are good average rms values as a result? (just for loudness)

Re: Easy Mastering
btw, after relistening after a few hours I found out, that the testmasters are louder then everything I got in itunes...except some flying lotus tunes which seem to be at the same volume. I opened one of the projects and found out that there was a compressor on my masterbus which reduced only about ...

Re: Easy Mastering
I tried it with 3 tracks I am currently working on, exported some loops, uploaded them to try out how they will sound. And I must say I am pretty much blown away! All 3 mixes came out between 8.5 - 9.3 average rms (checked with audacity on one 4 bar cycle) to be honest I am not sure if thats a good ...

Re: Not Sure what to call this?
this way it sounds like a Boards of Canada interlude type of tune.
if you glitch up the percussion and the beat in general it would turn out to be a pretty cool BoCish tune in itself.
I like it, pretty much potential imo

Re: Spaceghostpurrp Samples
I am pretty sure its a taken from an early mortal kombat game. 1 or most definately MK 2!!! there were some easter eggs in it where one of the producers showed up in combination with that exact sound. it wouldnt surprise me, cause the "victory" sample towards the end is from MK too, I thin...
