Re: !2 year old lifer
tbh bumping this 3.5 months later, just to respond, is pretty cuntish Oh god, I remember why I left now. There is something so tragic about this forum, like no ones life ever changes. Do yourselves a favour and live life instead of sitting on DSF all day wondering if you will ever make a good tune,...

Ableton latency issue
On Ableton 9, always get this where if I click the piano roll to trigger the sample, there is always a delay of around a second or slightly less between me hitting the key and the sample playing. On Logic 9 this doesnt happen, however it could be a sound card issue I guess because on youtube on my m...

thought it was fairly decent and this is a shame. Swamp takeover last year was a top night. Seems brutal the way it happened.

Re: Pearson Sound's kick in "Stifle"
Sine wave >> quick attack, medium release, >> Pitch envelope (the most important thing) >> Boost bottom end slightly
Could also get close with right 808 samples and messing with pitch envelopes on there - wave alchemy 808s are good. Goldbaby ones don't sound that clean

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
well if some one could make a wrapper plugin like fl has new patcher and albeton has there amazing racks. a vst like that would be great to build complex synths and effects with macros and knobs etc miss the racks in live. but thats all. i dont use samplers for my drums i always dropped the one sho...

Re: Waves 9 plugins and Live 9 compatability
I'm on OSX Lion so it doesn't create separate folders for 32 bit and 64 bit. I've searched for Waveshell and the latest one, 9.2, is in my Library>Audio>Plugins>VST Folder which is where it should be AFAIK. So not sure really. thanks tho

Re: Waves 9 plugins and Live 9 compatability
Mine work fine on Live 9, I've got the waveshell dll in my 64bit vst folder and it finds it straight away. Then just appears as a folder in Live. So I don't really know what the problem could be, they seem to be compatible. Oh right, strange. Is there a seperate folder for 64bit ?? I think my waves...

Waves 9 plugins and Live 9 compatability
Hi, My Waves plugs won't show up in live 9 64 bit, only the AU shows up and obviously these aren't compatible. Anyone got any solutions to this? I've googled and found loads of different suggestions but none of them seem to be working. Failing this, anyone got suggestions for great sounding bus comp...

It's weird how I kept moving seemingly upwards in the DAW department and studio one seems to have...

Re: gain structure and mixing aka THE MONEYSHOT THREAD
Just had to ask because i dunno if I've been doing the right thing for the last 6 months, but with regards to the theory that drums should hit at about -12db is that on their own individual tracks or on the master? My kicks in Ableton sounds relatively quiet as it is and they are hitting at 0db. Lo...

I would give anything to have it match FL's workflow. I wish id never started on FL because now I miss itHuts wrote: Logic owns. Workflow isn't FL studio fast, but it gets the job done
Even ableton doesn't cut it for me compared to FL workflow wise
