I find Massive to behave erratically, sometimes with no output, or very low output. Is this something worth upgrading Massive for, really don't like to upgrade ...

Re: Dear past self do not make these mistakes...

when you sit down to make a song, 90% of the time you are just not going to have the best ideas and a creative flow. use that time to learn about synthesis and music theory. but 10% you're going to feel that creativity just flowing and that's when you should open your daw. the creative productivity...

Re: Any tips on achieving this sound?

yeah hes right its all about the pitch modulation. your best bet is to first automate the pitch envelope in your daw with a blank slate in massive and then set it to loop while you tweak massive until it sounds right.

Re: What do you do when resampling?

before you delete the deeply resampled riff you DEFINITELY stop and 'save as' (trackname version #) so you can avoid this kind of mess. also, if youre using massive, throw a bunch of crazy different automations into the performer, like 16-32 bars worth, then you have PLENTY of shit to dig through fo...

Re: How to remix?

ive never attempted to remix an electronic track, but as far as remixing hip hop tracks goes i just grab the (highest quality possible, of course) acapella & instrumental, load em up into audio tracks, warp em in ableton & chop up bits and pieces i like into a new midi track to play around w...

Good Substitute for Ableton's Amp Plug??

Is anybody aware of something comparable to ableton's amp? mine is missing (along with the cabinet) for an undisclosed reason and i cannot obtain it. Ive come to realize how devastating this is and wish to find a solid replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!!
