Re: Wanting to learn sound engineering? How do I Start.
Read through the Manual that comes with your synths. If you got the through unconventional means, then the manuals are probably somewhere you can easily download them. Learn your synth, and mostly be creative. Or do a music course, I've learned quite a bit about sampling in my first year of uni, som...

Re: New song! Need feedback DUBSTEP
I like the sound of it man, pretty hyped.
My only problem is the snare is lacking a little bit. Maybe layer a clap underneath with a bit of delay might make it a little bit better.

Re: Are my monitors blown?
I bought them from an online distributor, and I'm already having trouble with this company over another product they sold me which has broken within warranty. I've had advice from a few friends anyway that have suggested the diaphragms may have gone, so I will have to attempt to send them back for r...

Are my monitors blown?
Hi guys. Recently I invested in a pair of KRK RP6's. Everything was going great with them, they were a huge step up from my old fostex monitors. However the other day I was working on some stuff where my sub bass peaked pretty high in logic. I got a kind of distorted sound and a kind of plastic/rubb...

Re: WastelanDUB-Nameless
Where it drops in needs a bit of work, try getting some buildup synths to indicate it's coming.
Also I'm not feeling the snare/rimshot, if it was me I would have used something else.

Love the sound man.
Only thing is I think is work on the drums a little bit in the section around 2:10, they sound a bit out of place and a bit dry.

Really feeling this.
Got to agree with Sampletank though you could use a nice sweep every 16 bars, keep it quiet but I think it would blend well.

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Sorry guys, forgot to post some feedback. Noisestorm- Liking that alot, nice production. Sampletank- It's coming along nicely but the hihats in the end section around 3:20 need a better arrangement, they aren't flowing well with the other sounds. Mthrfnk- Sounding good, very nero-esq like you said. ...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Here's something I started working on while traveling on Christmas eve. The levels are pretty bad because I've been on headphones, but I'm pretty happy so far, it's the only song which has given me the confidence to upload. Edit : Re uploaded so it's louder. http://soundcloud.com/fifth-paradox/jovia...
