Re: Producing with Depression

I meditate, helps quite a bit. I get waves of complete despair after every track I make. I'm usually satisfied with my music, but can't get it anywhere so I end up thinking that I suck and my life is worthless :D

Re: Bieltric - Ready!

Too loud! :) Add hi hat patterns like Tsk tsk Tsk tsk, they will add to the groove.

Ya ya synth is too loud compared to everything else, doesn't sit in the mix that well.

Re: Castle - Smoke (deep/Baauer/UZ synth influence)

As have been said before - piano is awesome, snare needs more work. That whoop whoop thing is completely out of place though. Break with soft bassy toms sounds really nice too. I think that adding a melody on top of the piano would certainly add to the tune, and if you play it bouncy enough it well ...

Re: Sciatica-Mad Jelly (Dubstep/Riddim)

Really nice drum sounds and patterns, really bouncy. Basses also fit perfectly, but you need to add sub. Melody in the intro gets the atmosphere just right.
Overall it's really cool :D

Yeah, that female sample is just too much :D Basses are nice and sinister. Drums could be louder. I think a more stable hh pattern would fit perfectly.

Nice and dark, I like it, gets the atmosphere exactly right.
I think that shaker at 2:02 is a bit too loud.

Re: Soner One - Evergreen - FREE DOWNLOAD

Everything sounds really distant actually, like it's muffled or something :-O Do you have any eq on master? If you don't then you either add more mid-highs to your sound or stop removing those.

Re: MICHAEL ROSE - WARRIOR (ERROR382 RMX)

Drums are too quiet and need more highs, snare sounds muffled atm. Skank also lacks clarity and needs more defined transient. Vocals sound nice, but they sound dissonant from time to time in this harmony. Lead has too much reverb, cut those low sides for more clarity they add nothing but mud. Also t...

Re: Sovereign - Haunt [Deep Dubstep]

Percussion is a bit too dry. Sample use is a bit excessive as was mention before.
Kick and snare are too rough for this atmosphere imo, something softer would do better.
Overall the atmosphere you tried to achieve is certainly there, sounds like nice dark bgm for a game or something like that :)

Re: Soze - Lost the way - dubstep/132

Sounds nice, a bit too repetitive for my tastes. Good percussion, pads and fx.
Hi-hat overpowers kick a bit, sounds a bit weird.
I think that live bass with slap and stuff might fit here quite well.

Re: Kurosive-Round and Around (trap/dubstep)

Bleep resonates a bit too much in the very beginning. There is a bit too much going on in the intro, ends being a bit unfocused. Btw, where is the sub? You know, it's supposed to go boom boom in trap :P Snare is too quiet and needs more punch. Also drop is supposed to be louder compared to the build...

Re: Gee - Keer Dub (Latin/Dubstep)

Love the "breaks" feel, drum patterns are really nice, but kick needs a bit more presence, it gets lost in the mix from time to time. Structure is ok, but it feels like there are 2 intros which are not really connected, why not add elements from 0:00-0:27 to the next part? Breaks before th...

Re: Trixtamine -Abrasion (Mildly Abrasive/Deep/Slightly Glit

There are some really nice moments you have there. When stuff starts to develop at 1:20, especially delayed stuff sound really good, but overall the tune feels too repetitive. I think that breakdown should have happened much earlier, more breaks and melodies wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Ghosthack - Lost feat. ShAi Dawn

Nice drums. I think that there is too much reverb at times, especially on vocals, it overwhelms the whole mix a bit. Pads and sound design in general seem quite fitting for the atmosphere, not much to criticise here, good job.
Eastern melodies are awesome and fit quite well.

Re: Thierry D - new deep 170bpm half time dnb ( Free 320kbps

Drop snare def needs more punch it's kinda lacking that right now. HH are a bit too dry for such deep sound imo. Bass lacks clarity a bit, could use some more eq. Some sounds are a bit too plastic-ish, subtle distortion and different fx could help with that. Structure wise everything seems ok, nice ...

Re: Nicorisone - Eternal (Idea in Progress)

Pad sounds nice, melody is ok, but you should spend more time on those bends, they are a bit dissonant and plastic-ish at times. I think, that rim shot would fit better than that hard hitting snare. I think that more cymbal/ride action would provide more variety to the drum pattern :)
