Fair enough, will do. Thanks!wub wrote:The midrange sections are a bit too loud in the mixdown, they're dominating and drowning out the other elements. Maybe take a look at the mixdown and EQ to let them come through?

Re: Doctor P, Flux Pavilion inspired track, feedback!
Cool melody. I would suggest beefing up the kick and EQ'ing a whole lot more. Some of the frequencies are fighting each other. Try to let the track breathe a bit leading into the drop, that way there's more impact. Not sure how I feel about the hat/tambo triplet sound either. Good job and keep worki...

WIP feat. Tupac (not trap)
It's not dubstep, but I used samples from oprs/future-graffiti.net
Using tupac as a placeholder until I can get a rapper. No hook lines written yet either

Re: Zomboy...
Some of his Fm mid range basses literally sound like farts. I have heard a lot of people say that about dubstep when they're just hating, but with Zomboy it's actually true haha. The mix is pretty good. Very clean. Almost sterile. I just think he lacks a lot of sub bass which he probably sacrificed...

Re: Stark Noble - Dwell (Dark/Drummy)
Thanks wub! I was having issue stacking more snares so it does feel a bit weak agreed. First time trying this type of mix/style.wub wrote:Drums are a little on the weak side, but the beat keeps things shuffling along. Liking that long attack bass growl that is there as well, good vibes.

I've played guitar basically my whole life and I've done a wealth of pop rock gigs/sessions (most recent track I'm on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNbOb0vMTuQ). I love all g...
