Re: $100-$200 DJ Controllers

I'd still say that for midi dj controllers, the S2 should be the absolute baseline of what you should consider.

Operator is worth it. Just the most painless sub you'll ever make. I mean obviously it can do all kinds of crazy stuff, but the convenience of it alone is worth the extra cash for me.

Re: Adding movement to your sounds?

I guess this hasn't really been mentioned, but if you start with an analog sound or a well modeled analog synth (arturia moog modular comes to mind), those shoddy electronics tend to cause a lot of movement. Or start fiddling away at the modulation grid in fm8.

Why are you changing? Yeah seriously, his post basically says "I've been using pcs forever, now I'm getting a MacBook (why are they so expensive?!?!) and now all my old project files are fucked and I can't use some plugins that are vital to my workflow. What do I do?" Well, just get an As...

Even the music note detection. Turning your recorded audio to midi and sampler has only been a right click away for logic.

Okay, I'm being proven wrong on a few things here... damnit. My attempt at anti-ableton sentiment is coming to a close... Attila - no I was referring to the ability to export tunes as mp3. It's a small thing, but a thing nonetheless when all other DAWs support it. heh Gotcha man. Yeah I agree on ex...

Also I think their move for a Push controller is stupid from a business pov. AKAI Is a huge partner and helps to push their products, they're stepping on some big toes. They should have worked with them rather than do it themselves. Not to mention that NI has a far more superior product in the form...

No, radio has its own limiters, which means hypercompressing it themselves was a mistake. EDIT: It doesn't matter how long it took. If I take twice as long for the same results, am I more deserving of praise? He didn't say radio specifically, stop trying to get all technical with how he worded some...

Really? I don't think I've ever had Massive crash...or really any vst.
