Re: Your Favorite effects?
Delay is my favorite plugin, can do some crazy shiz with it. Bifilter is a kool filter plugin I like to use. Image-line makes some very nice plugins like parametric eq 2, if you are willing to buy the juicy pack or what ever it is called. Also, one of the vocoders from FL are in the pack.

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@dial_back: Some good fundamentals, I like the synths you got going in the track, good old skool vibe to it. If you could just make the kick and snare punchy-er that would be great.
@mthrfnk: I don't particular dig the song, but everything thing seems to be fine. The snare isn't that punchy gets ...

In massive it is just a setting in the lfo called restart. Then you have to set your midi so it is like that.

Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Let me know what you think, and anything I could of done better. Structure gets a little weird at the end of the drop, but it is fine.

Re: [VIDEO] Huxley makes a tune in 10mins
Yea, but only thing I would change about this one is the string add some progression on there.hutyluty wrote:Yeah tbh huxley hardly pushes the boat out on tune progression- he knos how to make a catchy bassline though- which i spose is all you need.

@ LogiSpark : They sound good, except for it seems very wet on the reverb try and take it back a bit.
@ dial_back : Everything sounds good for the most part. Maybe make the sub deeper by a hair, but up to you.

Re: Beal - Deathmatch (Drumstep)
Hmm, interesting "bassnectar-ish". Thanks man! Yea I probably should of had a little tighter structure, but oh well I think if you get to know the track it is still very dj-able.

Re: Cave Diving [808/Not Trap][futurebass/nightslugs etc.]
Work on the mixdown make it more leveled, if you can raise most of the bass elements with out it clipping that would be good.

Re: The Soapmaker - Smiley Face (Datsik/Getter influenced)
Kool track man. I think you made the sub too deep though on the main bass synth. I usually use a sine around A0 note. If you bring up the too deep sub it will make it sound more full. A little bit too much high end in one of the drop synths, but I suppose it is fine.

Re: KayoKnZ - Madmon(Deep/Filth) [FREE DL]
When the bass comes in (like at the 48 second mark), there is no build up or drum fill beforehand. The bass comes in unexpectedly.
Maybe try to switch the drums or work on a build up, so it doesn't catch the listener off guard.
Yea a little build up would be nice. Probably dropping the drums ...

Beal - Deathmatch (Drumstep)
I think I actually did an alright job on the mix for once. General feedback, let me know if you like it, anything I could have done better, or if the structure is weird. Cheers.
