Looking to make this gnarly bass.
Sounds like a square wave going through a band reject, but I can't seem to get it.
Anyone care to help me with this?
I can post some tutorials I've made in Massive (I know, I know..)

Re: 40hz.HERO - On My House Grind (Hard House)
Are you saying there's too much going on in the low end?Illdillusions wrote:all about 40 obviously but that does not always work with dub brah
I cut everything below 38, and about 130-150, or something like that.
Sorry, the comment is just a tad confusing. =]

JailBot (Trap, Dubstep, Dance, Ambience, and much more!!!)
http://soundcloud.com/jailbot-official I have only been producing for less than a year, but I am actively apprenticing, and always looking to learn new things! Please give me feedback, I would love to hear good constructive criticism! I run REAPER on my Windows 9 desktop, with a hand-full of free pl...

Low-Cost Festivals and/or Shows
I was wondering if anybody knows about any relatively low-cost festivals coming up, preferably after the start of June. When I say low cost, I mean I don't want to spend $300 on my girlfriend and my tickets. Plus any that are close to Indiana would be a major plus. Not trying to drive 3 or more stat...

Re: Overall Production Tip/How-To's
I'm very enthusiastic that the replies multiplied over night! Thanks for you input, guys. Let me say that I've got some formal training. I played trumpet for my middle school band back in the day, and took piano lessons during high school. I also, actively, play with my keyboard (I love playing Hear...

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
I'm pretty new the dubstep scene. Ever since I was a little boy I've been infatuated with any kind of electronic music. My best friend was a DJ, and was going to teach me a few things about using turntables, until he passed one day. My two favorite genres of music have always been metal (preferably ...

Re: Overall Production Tip/How-To's
I wish there was more reading. I have read all threads in the Production Bible multiple times each, spent countless days scanning Google for new reading, and spent many hours reading production guides inside many Barnes and Nobles. I don't get as much practice as I like, but when I do - I'm glued. T...

Overall Production Tip/How-To's
My title may be a little misleading, as I don't know if I have any information to share, but rather was wondering if anyone had good advise for production? I have spent weeks, if not months, reading and practicing (using REAPER), but I was wondering if there's something you tend to do (a beat or noi...
