Re: Something to help new producers.
I've been fighting for two straight years man, fighting and fighting like you would not believe, shit you should see my production related scars bro. I'm tired though, so very tired. I can't go on fighting for much longer but I don't dare stop for fear of the consequences. You see, I got out of the...

Re: Something to help new producers.
I actually kind of figured this out, but this more or less confirms it. It's weird, coz all these people around me put tracks on SC and I don't think they are quality tracks. But they seem to think they made another master piece and have everyone listen to it. I could upload some of my tracks but I...

Re: FL STUDIO 10 - Step Sequencer (QUESTION)
Create a group from the channel drop down menu at the top then add your various channels to it. As you can see, there are already a couple of groups, just add to them. This is incredibly helpful for the end of projects when you've got 100+ automation clips, 100+ audio clips, and like 30 sampler cha...

FL STUDIO 10 - Step Sequencer (QUESTION)
I have a question regarding the step sequencer in FL Studio, Lets say I want a Drums section in the step sequencer and then a synth section, both different patterns with different names, how do I make it so only the samples I need in that particular pattern are shown and the rest aren't. This would ...

Re: Something to help new producers.
Did you see this on wimp? Theres a great little video where he says this. This is basically how I maintain my motivation lol. Might sound like shit, but on the bright side at least I know it does. And my productions are always getting better. Nope a friend posted it on facebook, I'll have to check ...

Something to help new producers.
I found this quote that I think will help those that are new like me to producing, because there's nothing worse than putting your all into a track then listening to something 100 times better, This will help. “Nobody tells this to people who are beginners, I wish someone told me. All of us who do c...

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hello, Dubstepforum Sorry for the formal opening I'm not very good at introductions! My name is Aprex and I have been producing bits and pieces for about 3 months, I got into the music by mixing existing productions, It got to the point where I felt disappointed in myself for simply mixing together ...

Re: Konvict - Tearing Love Apart (Chillstep 138 bpm)
Really liking this track, definitely has some Burial elements in it, I like the off key percussions, I think some of the higher notes were off key but that could just be me, it might be done on purpose I don't know. Anyways great track

Re: Standby - Happy The Clown
Really liking the vibe of this track, has some nice Sub bass and doesn't try too hard with heavy modulation. Reminds me of the old school dubstep. Top track!
